AceHigh

Can't yet. The switch is done, but still minor tweaks left, like themes.
Jason
May 8 2004, 11:49 AM

I don't like themes that's why I use the XP look.

You like the look of an interface designed by Fisher Price?
Jason

Yes thats it follow the sheep and call it fisher price, I like the clean look of XP and using that theme here makes it look more integrated in to the OS.

This new look is fine. What's the big deal? Give the man a chance to tie up the loose ends.

I now get the fast reply dialog box at the bottom of the screen but the fast reply button next to new topic and add reply does nothing just a javascript error.

Thanks for all the kind words. I was getting ready to do the XP theme, but it sits on my dead HD.
I will try to find the XP theme again, it was a downloaded theme, and mod it up so you can use and see the new stuff. If anybody finds the XP theme for IPB 1.3f (preferred) or 1.2f should work, let me know.

I can get that data off the dead HD.
Cheap, too: $3500.00 tops.

Are you gonna give up on the drive, or try and freeze it? Is that the one that's doing the Click of Death?

May 9 2004, 11:47 PM
Yeppers, that be the one. I have my computer back in order now, so I may just have to try the freezer thing...nothing to lose.

ACK!!!!! New problem, and my apologies along with it!!!
When I try to submit a news item, I get a completely blank page, but it says it's done loading. When I try to refresh, I get the popup telling me it has to resend the information, so I clicked "retry". I still got the completely blank white page, nothing whatsoever on it.
However, apparently, I've submitted the first news item four times through the process.
I'm gonna hold off on any more for now, it's WAY too hard to put anything in when it's all screwy.

Edit:
Well...was that weird or what??? I went back to check it, and there were NO posts in the "submit news" forum, and only one copy of the review I submitted in the news section.
bull
May 10 2004, 02:10 AM
I just fixed that problem and discovered another in the process.
The refresh will work, but the java popups will not until I get home in the am. I was installing the new news icons and for some reason when I work with the files in the cpanel and not upload/download on the ftp, I get issues. Not sure why??
btw, when you post news if you want to select the icon that goes on the main with it, hit the drop menu above the 'enter your post' and select the category.
