F1 teams back revolutionThe thing is, come 2008 the Concorde agreement will have expired and the FIA can set any rules it likes. No unanimous agreement needed from the teams as is currently required.
The GPWC's 'breakaway' championship may or may not happen, but what are the chances of the major motor companies being able to agree and organise an alternative F1 championship? I think the GPWC threat has always been a bargaining chip to get more cash from Bernie Ecclestone and it seems he's willing to hand out the dosh if the new rules package is adopted.
There will be much horse trading to come, but if the FIA want a new look Formula One in 2008 nothing can stop them, and the teams can only decide if they will run in it or not.
