MEGAPLANE IS UNVEILED

The assembly of the world's largest aircraft has begun at a factory in France.
A new hanger had to be built at the Toulouse plant to accomodate 555-seat the Airbus A380.
Experts say the aircraft could revolutionise the aviation industry and lead to a doubling in airline profits.

Not interested in big planes just fast ones, I would love to fly the Blackbird to its absolute limit (never going to happen though)

My sentiments exactly pap.... 550 dead and I wonder how many buildings that damned thing would take out when loaded full of fuel.....

so you send 2 hours going through security, 1.5 hours getting seated and getting to a big runway, 5 hours flying, 1 hour taxiing around (waiting for a gate that fits this thing)
45 minutes unloading, and 1 hour at baggage claim.
Sounds like a long day thumbdown.gif

Even worse is these will best serve long haul hubs, so once you get off you need to run for the local plane, train, bus or limo to get close to where you want to be.

They have to have somewhere to put the old Concord Parts, Maybe if they crash they will be filled with French! We could loan them some Liberals, for replacements. cocky.gif
