Full Version: Holy Cow!
May 11th and we could get 35cm of snow by tomorrow night. Almost 14" of the white crud. Winnipeg has had 3 other snowfalls in May. All of them over 20 cm or 8". Yeoowch. Should be fun driving.

The snowfall has been revised upward. Once again. Could get WAY more snow tomorrow also. 
We have never had that much snow in a year here 
Winnipeg had 87cm in January alone this year.

Actually it is good for a number of reasons. One: the snow will stay for a little while and not run off into the sewer system and into the rivers. Two: It will probably help the water table here which is way down. Three: It will make more moisture available (potentially) for growth. Four: It will make some customers seek our services sooner than later. (create a little panic) Five: It will put more money in my pocket long term. Therefore: It's a good thing.

I don't have to guess I can see where it's headed and also looking at three different services, 2 of which are gov't and one that is a local channel, it is not hard to put together which way this is going. Almost 95% of our weather systems move by us from Northwest to Southeast. Plus the chicken bones told me so.
P.S.: This snowfall, which isn't finished, has already broken the May record. Lovely.

You should be a meteorologist 'cause it was snowing on the way home and flurries when I arrived home, LOL! Supposed to get some increasing snow showers early evening and again tomorrow although nothing too significant, (I hope!). Planning on doing some fishing this weekend (caddis hatch) so it better clear up a bit!

Never said this system was going to snow down there.
This was a Colorado low and it swept thru here pronto. A second followed it but just a little rain. Nothing to get worried about. Don't know what you got but wasn't worried about your weather either.
