YES!!!

I also scored tickets to their Sept 25th show in Dallas. Got a '4-star' package for two, which means seats in the center section floor no further back than 20 rows. But we got into the system within the first 10 minutes, so I'm guessing we're pretty close.

I'm SO Stoked!!

Anybody going to a show in your area?

Continental Arena - East Rutherford NJ - Tuesday June 22nd!

Freaking cost me $90.00 per ticket plus some lovely "convenience charge" from ticketmaster that set me back another $12.00 per ticket!!! 7.gif

My cousin is going to a VH Concert in TX. He was all pissed off because he couldn't get any of the 'star packages' for anything close in his area. He went for the '4 star' package as well. Cost him something like $300.00 and he has to drive 6 hours to go see the concert.

While I am a VH fan, there would be no way in hell that I would be shelling out that kind of dough for a concert.

I don't know if you can call it "going", but I'll be there. icon_mrgreen.gif icon_lol.gif
Mister 4x4
Yeah - it must suck to go see such a cool show, and get paid for it. icon_biggrin.gif

I dare ya to get me an autographed hat though.

What's Felix up to? What am I missing out on?

My job = Stagehand. yes.gif cocky.gif

Actually, it's hard to say if I'll actually get to see anything or not...I rarely do. Even if I'm running a spotlight, I can only look at whoever I'm lighting, not the whole show. I do get to hear quite a few shows, though. icon_lol.gif

Hmmm....I'll have to see what I'm doing as far as an autograph goes. When I've done wardrobe for concerts I've been able to get autographs if I have something for them to sign. I don't think that'll happen this time, though. It's kinda frowned on as "unprofessional" to try for autographs. icon_cry.gif

I'd love to see them at the Arena but if we go to a concert this yeaar it'll probably be Blink182 with No Doubt.

Ok, I thought they dumped Haggar and they were back with Diamond Dave. What happened? I heard a new song on the radio and it was Sammy singing. I thought they hated each other.

no! 8.gif
But I heard it again on the radio. It didn't lick as much.
Mister 4x4
Well, OK. But I'll keep in mind that you like the Black Eyed Peas. icon_biggrin.gif

Dallas eh? Don't care much for Eddie, as Eruption and Hot for the Teacher are the only 2 songs I've heard from the band, but personally I'm waiting for Metallica to friggin choose a date to play in Dallas this year... I'd pay anything (reasonably) to see them again (last i saw them was Summer Sanitarium 2003 tour, which kicked ass with the exception of Limp Balls)

Of course if you're a Van Halen fan, you might also be a Metallica one?!?
Mister 4x4
Well, like most old school rockers, 'One' hooked me. I love their 'Black' album, plus lots of tunes from 'Load' and 'Reload...' I need to pick up 'S&M' and I'll be happy. I lost track of them after the whole Napster thing cuz I kinda don't agree with their stance on commercialistic greed. The problem is the RIAA, not the people sharing music. But that's another story.

Basically, I like a good portion of their music, but I won't pay to see them live.

I'm more of a mainstream rocker - VH, Scorpions, GnR, Queensryche, Rush, Boston, bands like that. But my music collection has all sorts of stuff by everyone.
bull
I doubt I will so see Van Halen at those prices either. I did want to catch Metallica (along with Godsmack) when they were here about 3-4 weeks ago, but missed it.

I more wanted to catch Godsmack, now they rock. I lost total respect for Metallica wi the whole Napster crap, mostly Lars. They dump his ass in a firey pit and I would have a bit more respect for them. dance.gif

Couldn't do anything with the hat...would you settle for three guitar picks from Mike Anthony? Best I could do, at least on loadin. I'm helping tear down guitars on the out tonight, too...might get luckier. icon_biggrin.gif
