I am brand new to Windows Server 2003 and cannot figure out how to get the license logging service started on my new server. We are planning on using per client licensing rather than per server. Any help would be appreciated... Thanks!

I appreciate your help, but that is the same information that Microsoft provides in the help section of the server. The problem is they don't tell you how to start the actual service itself and that the service is not running by default.

I had to go into the Administrative Tools --> Services and find the license logging service, which was disabled. I then went into the properties of this service and set it to automatic and applied the changes. Once this was done I could start the service.

Correct it is a Service but off by default as with most 2003 Services.
