Well, it's finally happened. My main rig has pooped the big load and is inoperable - funny thing is, the P3 850Mhz seems a lot snappier than the old box. Hey, at least now I can do some more posting in the Tech Sections as I pick out a new mobo and HD.

Are you going to salvage the working parts from the dead rig or buy all new stuff?

Salvaging the Vid card, optical drives, sound card, memory, PSU, case and whatever else I can... thinking it's just the XP install but if I can parlay it into some new hardware...
