As part of my business I want to get into kids school photography. It’s been a long time since I had a school portrait done and mine are too young. What is the process for the parents? I assume you only get one choice of photos. How do they let you know what it is? How do you go about ordering more pictures or do you only get one package? Any other things to tell me?

Dunno what to tell you Varth. Go to google or yahoo advanced search and type in "school portraits" and see how they do it. fragend013.gif

We just had these done. They did one pose and sent home the whole package and you had the choice to keep it all for $xx or down from there.

Same deal here, they take a picture (usually not good) and give you a choice of several packages. We usually take the cheapest and then take the girls to JC Penny, Sears or some other studio and have their picture taken together - the way WE want.

Around here we don't see the picture until we order a package & it's just 1 pose. After we receive them though & if we don't like them we can get our $ back.I usually get 1-8x10,2-5x7,& 8 wallets & it usually costs about $30.

Yep. They take a picture, pretty decent picture, (fortunately the kids have their mothers look, LOL) and send the whole package home - we usually pick a small one that will cover the grandparents and send the rest back (kind of a waste) Then we take them to (commie, prejudice, non-union, LOL icon_wink.gif ) WalMart when they are taking photos or take them ourselves...
