The Mcalrren Mercedes SLR was THE fastest production car but that was been beaten by the new Porsche Carerra GT, Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson was simply godsmacked with the performance of the car.

Naw that's rubbish.....but boy that was damn fast on Top Gear a great fun to watch!

It doesn't have the prestige or class of the Aston DB9 but it is still a stuningly fast car.

Imagine what it was like driving it knowing it could cut out any minute.

800 miles on 1 tank of petrol was awesome but that was not normal driving.

I thought this thread was about the Porsche Carrera GT... silly me. Oh well, it's not like the car posted in the original thread even resembles a Porsche anyway. I'll bet Dr. Porsche is rolling in his grave.
