ok when ever i start a game up on computer tryed batlefield 1942 and star treck armada2 it will start game fine but about 2 seonds of playing and screen will shut off

What power is the PSU, it could be that its switching to the 3d accelerated feature of the GPU and not having the power in the PSU to handle it.

it all worked until had to do a reinstall and since then tryed to download the grfx drivers couldnt get hold of them for couple days coz site down

now got them every thing seems fine but just dies or a new one that happens is gets loads of niec colours

With Westwood games you have to go upgrade the version, that usually fixes them, just a idea.

Drivers may need upgraded too after reinstall. MB and Vid.
