OK... my brother has a digital camcorder and we extracted the video for it to my hdd. It plays fine on the computer, but when i burn it to a cd in SVCD/VCD format my standalone DVDplayer (Sony) has green blotches on the top and bottom. It plays normal dvds fine and it does support VCD/SVCD.

I burn it at the lowest level on either my Yamaha or LG burner (1x/2x) and it still does the same thing. However, my parents have a different DVD player at their house and it plays perfectly in there.

Any reason why?

I have tried Nero, Nerovision Express, and VCDeasy and it all does the same thing.

Any help would be great
