Hello peeps! I just launched my new web site. www.Greenmountainwholesale.com. I have only been working on it for a week so don't expect much! I do not know html as much as I'd like so I am using Yahoo's site builder. I am just wondering why the layout looks excellent on my three computers, but I go on friends computers, and the fonts are different, things are overlapped, and not centered. Does it have to do with the resolution on my computer? That still wouldn't explain why the font changes. Also I was wondering what kind of advice people have as far as promoting my site efficently, and not blowing a lot of money on it. Thanks!

Decent setup and colors, but make it fit the screen. That always bugs me when I have to scroll side to side.
Otherwise, nice start.

Don't know about Yahoo site builder, but it may be using a fixed font and table settings. Always use % instead of fixed table sizes (overlapping).

Thanks for the help guys! I made some adjustments this morning. If anybody has the time I would appreciate you telling me if it looks better on your computer than Saturday. I think part of my problem is I had my screen resolution at 1280X1084 while the average user sets it at 1024X768.

That does look much better.
My only other recommendation would be to try to make the background of your images transparent. That will make it look even better.

Doesn't look bad, the black text on the blue background just doesn't register with my eyes though. Of course this could be a personal thing for me... others here will tell you that I'm odd. For instance I can't play a FPS for long periods.

No you are right WD! I just havn't had the chance to make any changes lately because I have been to busy. It doesn't really matter at this given moment though because my merchant acount has not yet been established. Banks are a pain to deal with!
