Despite what you all think we Americans are proud of our country and love it as much as you guys love yours..... so lets go easy on the insults before this turns realy ugly.
Theres not a counrty on this planet that doesnt have a history of major screw ups..... do we really need to point them all out.
And please dont try and bait me ..... insulting each others home land is pointless.
Happy early forth Pap.

Yeah right, thank you so much. Like you do it all on your own.
You only got involved because it affected you eventually.

To tell the truth the US did drags it feet as far as its involement in Europe. I believe the Germans declared war on the US before we did, about 4 days after pearl habor.
But we did kick some serious boody, along with help from are euro. allies.
What happened to light hearted humor J Man?

On the topic of US vs hitler, i would like to add a point which PW bypassed.
The US had granted several countries rather extensive loans prior to the WW2 and since payments slowed down during the war the country got worried and finally decided to act and make sure the indebted countries were able to pay off and not go bankrupt by a long war.
I'm not saying this is the sole reason why US joined the war in Europe, but it is dangerous indeed to bypass it without giving it thought!
