Funny related story: When I was in Desert Storm, they were arming and re-arming planes like madmen. Well, they were in such a rush to get this F-15 re-armed and back out, that the Maintenance Pukes (well thats what we called them... anyone who wasn't a Security Force(s) was a "puke" no offense Ace

) weren't paying attention to what they were doing. So picture about 3 little loaders zipping around the hanger slapping ARM missles and all sorts of ordance. Well, two loaders went left when they were supposed to go right.. and the missles smacked each other and armed themselves (again, not a nuclear weapon, they have allot of failsafes on them whereas regular ordance doesn't) The Maintance pukes jump off the loaders and run for cover, everyone is running around like chicken's with thier heads cut off, the loaders are still going driving around w/ no drivers, smacking into all sorts of stuff.
To make a long story short, we had to cordon off the area, evacuate people from some buildings.. except the "Intel" building, they had to stay with the big secret squirrel stuff and go up w/ it if the missles detonated, and wait for Explosive Ordance Disposal (E.O.D.) to come in and disarm the missles.
I am out of "eye shot" of what is going on, but close enough that if they go off, the last thing I will see is a big flash. So I get to sit there for about 10 - 15 minutes waiting to find out if they are gonna blow; cursing out the Maintenance Pukes for scoring too high on the ASVAB test when they should have become Cooks or something instead.
I guess I didn't make the long story short, did I?

Anyway, as you can guess, the missles didn't go off, EOD disarmed them and I am here to share with you an otherwise boring story unless you were there.
