I've got a Leadtek ti 4200 64MB, right now it sits on 275/550. I've heard lots of people getting these things up to 300/600, and higher. I tried pushing it further, and it was crashing at core 290, and made some artifacts at memory 285 icon_cry.gif I think that's the lowest OC for my card I've heard of. Anyone else OC'd a 4200? I'm thinking about ditching this one and grabbing the SUMA 4200 128MB, you can get that one up to 305/700.

A GeForce 4 ain't fast enough? icon_lol.gif

right.... save the money for other computer upgrade parts.
TickleMeNutsack
It's fast, but I want the most out of my money, so I overclock. Wouldn't cost much for me to go from this one to the SUMA, next big upgrade is new motherboard. Just grabbed 2 sticks of corsair 256MB xms2700 icon_biggrin.gif

your gonna need a beter heatsink on the core to o/c it higher...and also some ram sinks...you also need airflow to get to the card...

maybe try watercooling the card...
thrillhouse
if you can go try and get the suma ti4200 SE with 128mb 3.3ns ram.
~sid~
why though?

the gf4 is fast enough, what you want is picture quality...wait for Matrox to release Parhelia....
TickleMeNutsack
Yeah the Parhelia sounds great, but will probably be out of my budget
vegetto34
Then get a Radeon 9000 or Pro.

Radeon 9700 owns you. :p
~sid~
and end up with crappy drivers...we know ATIs story...they release 4 or 5 driver sets, and then basically abandon the card...
Mandark
after wasting all that money on extras for o/c'ing.. you will have spent the difference for a Ti 4600.... dont waste your time/energy/money on some STUPID and MEANINGLESS benchmark result.

dont bother with the lame parhelium.. what an utter disgrace that is for 400 dollars. I would rather have an R300

and Matrox is worse at driver support than ATI.... ugh... screw matrox.

I will wait for NV30 thanks.... u guys have fun overclocking the universe
TickleMeNutsack
I didn't spend any extra for o/c'ing...

My Suma Ti4200 SE (3.3ns) is sitting comfortably at 300/650 with the stock HSF and stock ramsinks on it. That is equivalent to the Ti4600 icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_cool.gif

bye visiontek ...all you nvidia freaks you are about to be pushed to the side as the new kings takes the throne ..ati,ati,ati,, and they produce some great drivers.more of a improvent per driver set than most reviews i seen.9700,9700,9700 omg i just came icon_mad.gif
Mandark
what I have learned is that the ASUS vid cards have 600 MHZ ram so you could crank up the speed to 600 and you are really not o/c'ing it casue it the ram is rated for this speed.

I would not buy an ASUS vid card.
