Just got my latest MaximumPC with the review of the new Koolance PC2-601. It's a case with a built in watercooler for the graphics card and cpu, im kinda convinced, I might actully buy one. What do you guys think of systems with built in watercooling measures?
http://www.koolance.com is a link to their site if you want to check out their line of products:)

I've read of some guys who actually have had leaks!!!
I don't think wet is good for the mb!--or anything else.....
Anyone have exerience with peltier systems?

i still think water cooling is a little unsafe.........but it depends how expirenced you are......, well pray it doesn't leak :!:

thats why u test them before u put them in...u just turn them on....not installed on the chip...its suppose to be a sealed system....no leaks then its ok If u have a leak....back to the drawing board icon_rolleyes.gif

I'd personally be more comfortable with a peltier than putting water cooling into my system. A peltier would also give much better cooling!!

i want cpu's that dont need fans or cooling... ultra low power cpus...... that is what I want from materials science....

all I can say is wow.. if you have lots of cash and can do that kind of thing... knock yourself out.

Me, I don't buy the hype. I let others do that and show me what is real and what is fiction.

Even though it's not a great performer for games, the Via C3 processer runs really cool, they don't have any cooling on them in thier Blade server line, the one that fits like 20 computers into one 3U rack space:)

you could use non conductive liquid couldn't you? This would protect against any leakages down the track. But i dont know how well these non conductiove liquids perform agaisnt natural water heat wise.

my thoughts
Mandark
ionized water is non-conductive... pure ionized water.

I saw a site with some guys that did that a while back, they used a 3M product, it was called Flourine or something like that, they cooled the flourine with liquid nitrogen to overclock the shit out of a Celeron:)
