I just got a Samsung A660, and wanted to know if there is a place to get free ringtones??

I work in telecommunications. Some are free some are not. Click on free ringtones and you will get the free ones.

IF your phone supports browsing what you do is go to the site and browse the free tones (option is in a box on the left side) find the one you want and there will be a 4 digit code on it. THen you browse to the site on your phone and you will get a dialog box asking for the ID. edit that box so it has the number of the tone you want to use. then click the go lonk on your phone. Bam it will download. Easy as pie.

There are a bunch of programs out there MC that you can either connect a usb cable to your phone and upload your own ringtones (mp3 format or wav depending on what your phone will accept) and there are some programs that turn your computer into some sort of "broadcast" thing over the net and if you have net capability on your phone, you type in your comps IP address and download the ringtones to your phone from your computer.

I've got a usb cable / application solution for my nextel and it works like a charm.

It all depends on the provider you are with.. some will allow you to put your own ringers on, and others will not..
