I have a basic knowledge of this but welcome any instructions on the steps to remove the follwing devices from the sys bios.
(under ethernet devices)
SiS 900 Based Pci Fast Ethernet Adapter
(undrer other devices)
Multimedia Audio Controller
I have another Ethernet card and another sound card installed and they are both working great, and I have disabled these 2 conflicting devices in the device manager and wouild like to remove them completely.

Full Version: Conflicting Devices
1st, go into the BIOS (esc, F2, or something at boot to enter BIOS). Find where the on-board devices are, and disable them. Boot the comp, go to device manager, and delete them there. This doesn't ALWAYS work for some BIOSes, as the OS may still pick them up.
