3 to 4 lbs of Boneless Rump Roast
room temp
thinly slice a clove of garlic and insirt with a knife around roast , 8-9 places deep
preheat oven to 400
rub roast with pepper till black all over , little salt too
put a nonstick cake pan directly under the roast and the roast on the oven rack
yes rite on the oven rack
400 for 25 min , cut oven back to 225 and roast for another 3 hrs or so. till meat therm is at the temp you like
mix an instant gravy mix rite in the cake pan to get the juices from the meat
have with mashed taters and a veg
