troubles
Does anyone know what software program there is if any that will take the audio from a DVD and put it on my computer or just burn it to an audio CD I can play without the DVD player? For example, I have a DVD of Metallica in concert and I would like to be able to listen to the concert in my car but because it's a DVD, my car CD player will not play just the audio. Thanks for any help you can give me icon_biggrin.gif

Hey there Lilmoonee, where are you from? Thank you very much for the information, I will be sure to let you know how it turns out as soon as I try those programs. Take Care, Troubles

If you're making audio CDs you should convert the AC3 stream to a wave, not an mp3. You'll get better quality that way.

yes indeed... but then you lose the 5.1 audio. It'll get downmixed to 2 channels. I think there is a way to burn 5.1 audio CD's... but I don't know much about that.

Besides only certain 5.1 players could do that. For everything else it would just be static.
