My son inadvertently clicked on a file named "webcam_015.pif".... he was talking with a friend on MSN & this file appeared... he thought that this friend had sent it to him. I have found out from various sources that this is a virus. Does anyone have any information on how to get rid of it? I have Norton 2004, AVG7, AntiVir installed on his computer which is running W2K with all the latest patches. I have already run all the tests and have come up with no viruses. I noticed that his LAN connection was very active even when there was nothing going on.... I have since disabled the LAN connection.
Thanks.
