Although this looks like a picture taken from a Hollywood movie, it is in fact a real photo, taken near the South African coast during a military exercise by the British Navy. It has been nominated by Geo as "THE photo of the year".

It's amazing how cleanly the shark was able to leap out of the water! No spray coming off of him at all. And, it looks just like the shark in some of the Jaws movie ads and posters. :wink:

The South African coast is known for its Great White sharks (which is what that is)....as far as size, they get bigger.
If Ace says its real....then its real to me , until someone proves otherwise.

Whites are one of the few sharks that will leap out of the water after prey.

I have no way of verifying if it's real or not. I posted it, text and all how it was sent to me. I have not found anything on the web to dispute it.
