Napalm Death, Helmet and Therapy? confirmed to headline third stage
...as sponsors Napster offer Download ticket holders up to 1 million free tracks!
The first six bands for the Napster Third Stage at this year's Download festival have been announced, with Napalm Death, Raging Speedhorn, Helmet, Towers Of London, Therapy? and Eighties Matchbox B-line Disaster added to the bill.
As part of its involvement in Download, Napster are offering all ticket holders the opportunity to burn up to 1 million tracks absolutely free! By using a unique code on each ticket, festival goers will be able to access the Download Vault to get free wallpapers, screensavers, videos and tracks.
During the festival, Download's online media partner VirtualFestivals.com will help transform the Napster Stage into a fully-loaded, multi-media experience, with a number of ground-breaking initiatives creating a new dimension of interaction between artists and audience.
Napster will also be offering nostalgic festival goers the chance to rehear sets from the weekend through its Download Festival Radio service. See www.napster.co.uk for more.
Watch this space for more ground-breaking developments, and for loads more bands due to be announced in the coming weeks.
