It's like that here, too...Only freezing doesn't kill the bacteria, it just immensely slows down their growth.
I love spider rolls!! I'm not a fan of the single pieces of sushi, but I do like tamago (egg) and unagi (barbecued eel). As for rolls, I stick to cucumber, oshinko, salmon, and futo maki.
And whatever else I eat depends on the restaurant.
