OK, there always alot of talk online of the AMD PR rating and exactly what it means. I have currently got my AMD XP2000 o/c to 1850, just over the XP2200(1800mhz). Have a look at the screenshots below. They clearly show the XP@1850 is just off the performance of the P4 2.4 and clearly outweighs it in the FPU department That is why the PR ratings actually mean the speed a t-bird would have to be running to get the same performance. By the way, this system is aircooled, 100% stable, and getting load temps of 46C with ambient of 26C and system at 31C, and to top it off, it is quiet This is the Arithmetic test This next one is the multimedia test
Educated opinions please, not the old 'Intel rules but I dont know why' crap.

I do know that intel machines don't fold as well as AMD.
