Right a way I am using WinProxy, which does not meet my needed therefore, I am planning to change it.
I am trying to find Advanced Proxy server with many features such as:
· Download Restriction for specific user, Group or IP address
· Can give the access to the Internet by the IP or the NT account or both.
· Support more than 1000 clients and 1500 users.
· Bandwidth limitation for specific user, group or IP address.

Can any expert advice me or nominate 2 or 3 names. If they are free that is will be good or can get their crack

Almost nothing that is good is free. Websense is NOT free. It is rather expensive, but it is the best solution I have ever seen or used. We used that at Volkswagen.

Corporations use Websense and other top notch products to stop employees from getting personal emails via the web, accessing non work related content and the like. They also use it to generate reports to identify folks who waste valuable company time on the internet. It can even track how long the user stays on the page visited.

Anyway, Squid runs on UNIX systems and is free.

I do not know if you will get QoS, bandwidth throtling, or other features but it does allow for simple or complex and advanced Access Control Lists for the restrictions (or non restrictions) of users and groups

MS ISA Server allows you to do everything you want too using Windows servers, but it is NOT free either. You will not find free software that can take 1000-1500 users either. Tell management to buy it or live with what they have.

Your company should NOT be using CRACKED software and NOBODY here is going to get you a crack so you can steal software. That software was not developed for free. It takes years of blood, sweat, and many tears. The fact that you mentioned a crack really gets me upset.

Yes you are right Mandrake, Free Proxy is Bad of Quality and I agree with you that we shouldn't use cracked programs in Corporate Organization but who will understand.
If you (Management) are an IT professional you can understand me but if you are none, you will never understand what I am talking about
I appreciate your help brother Mandrake and I will try this program and I think it is an excellent program as I read on their Guidelines. I just need a proxy server and I don’t want to use it as firewall or mail server cause they are installed already
