Was chatting with peeps and got a call from son. He got in a wreck No one hurt, and no damage on the Suburban he hit (we know the people). His brakes went out. It has done this before, even on the previous owner, but it was supposed to be fixed. The cop did not issue a citation to him because he told the cop that the brakes were acting strange, and we collaberated it with the history of the car, AND, the lady she hit saw in the rear view mirror that he was frantically trying to stop and wasn't following too close.

Glad everyone made it ok. The car doesn't seem to be too bad,a new hood & lights. How did the radiator fare the wreck? I've taught my son to not forget about the emergency brake in a situation like that. It's something rarely used but is real handy if your hydraulics go out. Of course,hindsight is always 20/20.

Old Dad, radiator is fine. There are 3 metal bars in front of it. The whole mount is pushed back, but it's all intact.

Yea most of that looks cosmetic...Good thing everything turned out alright ....

Ace!!, if the car has a history of brake failure???? Your a wrench....what happened? Ah you trusted someone else that it was taken care of....make sure you check all the used cars you buy yourself.
