I updated the drivers, I'm fresh out of ideas. I have multiple CD's ripped to my computer, when I listen to them, randomly this happens not all the time, ALL THE OTHER SOUND ON THE COMPUTER DIES BESIDES THE CD AND WHEN I SHUT IT OFF I HAVE NO OTHER SOUND THEN mp3's/WAVS!! WTF!! Some help PLEASE or I'm bringining this back.

Did you check your IRQ? See if it's sharing or causing any conflicts between anything else?

get something good. try that cheapo that cmedia thing.
