Specific Description
Task will involve working with customer personnel on VSAT, Hub, VoIP, and Network Datacom equipment in Iraq. Individual chosen must be willing to travel to Iraq, Kuwait, and other locations within South West Asia (SWA). Personnel must be willing to commit for 12 months; with R&R provided every 4 months. Entitlements (Danger, Hardship, War Risk Premium) will be based on first 40 hours with a normal 60 hour work week. Persons with systems installation and deployment experience in Satcom, Datacom, & Telecom networks are preferred. Candidates with a current Secret clearance are also preferred. The candidate selected for this position will be subject to a security investigation and must meet customer eligibility requirements. Individual will report directly to LMTO KICC Operations Manager-Baghdad.
General Position Description
Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Acts as local on-site representative to customer's organization.
Typical Minimums
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
