hi i upgraded the firmware on my mp4/mp3 player this si what it looks like

it was the wrong firmware does anyone have the firmware for it or know a way to get it working

i don't have one but everything i read i think you screwed the pooch

all i need is the firmware, i can update the firmare easy i have updated lods of new firmware in the hope that on is compatibal but no luck so if anyone knows were i can get one or if you have the firware please send it to me at samjab@btinternet.com

There doesn't seem to be a "manufacturer" for that item, and without that, cannot determine the correct firmware.

Does it have any info as to who made it or anything on the player?

hi solved it i got the firmware for my player the same one in the pic in the first post read part for this eamail i sent to a company i have emailin and replying helping them with surport




after searching and searching a fould this site for mp4 utility software 3.06 and firmware for another player wich simed to be the same firmware, i download it and did the firmware update, seemed not to work, anyway i left it turned off of about 10min's when i was installing mp3 player utillity software 3.06 it finished installing and i turned the power switch on, on the mp4 player conected it to the computer and hold the player buton for about 10secs . the computer reconised it like before and i left it for about 5 mins and the screen was light horay it was working again.

but the firmware i installed was ment for a difrent player and a newer version the menu and the foward next button was swaped around and it did not have a screen saver option anymore but it has a ebook icon in the menu and hold , also to put the vol up up tap the vol button and use the menu buton. holding the vol button put the player on hold and holding th vol button again takes it off hold.

and now i have considered that the memory chip is balled right up.

it works there is no viruses and the new firmware version seems to be more stable apart form the changes in i buttons

the new utillity software 3.06 is the best so far video and sound is in syink.


i hope that was some help to over people with wrong firmware updates.

Hey I was reading other topics and i was 2 seconds from getting firmware for an mp3 from china, reading the topic, decided not to upgrade lol. Sounds like firmware are a pain in the ass
