HI CAN ANYONE HELP I BOUGHT ONE OF THOSE GENERIC MP3 PLAYERS 1GB WILSON 3.0.42 AND I CANT GET ANY MORE THAN 99 SONGS STORED ON IT. THERE WAS NO INSTRUCTIONS WITH IT AND SEVERAL PEOPLE HAVE TRIED BUT CANT FIND THE PROBLEM. I HAVENT TRIED TO UPGRADE AND OTHERWISE IT WORKS FINE, IM NOT SO CLUED UP ON MP3 BUT I KNOW I SHOULD BE ABLE TO STORE MORE SONGS. THANKS FOR ANYONES HELP

You're pretty skrewed, I'm sorry. You can't really fix that, it has a hard limit on files. Just try listening to large songs. Try getting an iPod or a dell ditty. (www.ipod.com www.dellditty.com)

You need to place the songs in directories. apparently there is a limitation of files on the root of not more than 100.
try it and let me know.
