A freind of mine just acquired a computer from his sister who in turn bought a new Dell (i know, i know).
Now this may sound crazy, but he would like to change the name that was assigned to his windows installation... do you know what I am talking about?
(1) Right Click My Computer
(2) Properties
(3) Under the general tab it has a the name (and company) of the owner of the system
Well he wants to remove his sisters name (loser's name as he referred to it) and her fictitional company she put in and put his own name and fictitional company... i wonder about some peeps... but that is his request.
is there a way to do this via the registry or something?
Any help would be great. Tanx.
