That solves the problem of not having the one and only option on the Turbo S Beetle--that being a 6 disk CD Changer.
Now I can have ALL my music.. well, most of it in one skip free place... The car audio kit is 35 bucks.
got it all for 230 bucks
Mine is Black w/Black Leather
mmmmmm 180 HP and a 6 Speed transmission

what do you think? Should I get the 6 disc changer or that? I would have to buy my own changer and if they ever change the model they use, it would be useless... plus, i can fit over 1000 hours of music on this puppy

It's all VIA. And NVIDIA fired me. So now I work for VIA.
KT400 RULEZ!!!!
I owned that same exact Archos Jukebox player.
Loved it. Had nothing bad to say about it except one: it wasn't "loud enough" while wearing headphones. So I returned it.
I bought it so when I drove the Harley from NY to Myrtle Beach, S.C. I would have some tunes.
I guess nothing is louder then the Harley exhaust though.
Manny that sure is a nice car. Your wife must be very happy with you. I assume you bought it for her? I mean, after all, here in NY I never see anyone but women driving Beetles.

Remember that the car comes with Premium sound and Monsoon speakers... so I think it will be "loud enough"
and your Harley was the problem dude.... lol Super loud but VERRY nice bikes
I love the beetle.. the demographics are 60% women purchasers. Hey, bitches have good taste.
I drove a test new beetle to the gulf of mexico from detroit and that little bitch was ultra sweet. nearly impervious to crosswinds, excellent handling and i averaged 100 mph on the trip. The Turbo S is 180 HP.... lots of kick in a small but very stable package

CoZ,
I think that one drive would change your mind forever. Not only is it one of the safest cars in a crash (if not the safest) it si extremely beautiful and aerodynamic.
Form follows function. This car is ALL business and carries 4 adults in comfort. Also, if you are over 6 foot tall, this is the car you want to drive. The head room cannot be match by anyting in its class.

Sorry to say this but I think the Beetle looks ugly.
What happened to your Jetta ?
Mandark
Nov 7 2002, 12:47 PM
I still have the TDI,
Wife is turning in her Jetta and taking that one... She cannot drive a manual transmission! hahahaha I am glad, I get the Turbo S all to myself.
I am sorry you don't like the beetle... I find it stunningly beautiful. To each his own.
I wish you could drive it though.... all your opinions would probably change.
VW only built 5000 Turbo S's this year... mmmmmmm

I'd take the jukebox if I were you. It's pretty convenient to be able to take what you're listening out of the car and carry it with you when you go somewhere...

you're not selling many cars over the forums manny, so you might tone down the salesman lingo
besides, it's not the safest car in a crash. there are plenty of safer models. heck, the beetle is old. the cutting edge car safety frontier is moved forward noticably each year.
but i'll agree it's a safe car.

well, in 1998 it was rated best pick
and I am not trying to sell anyone a car. I am jsut enthusiastic and would like to share information. If anybody is interested, then great.

yes i know you're enthusiastic
it's all about the real life statistics. a sterile testing environment doesn't necessarily mirror reality
as i said though, it's a safe car!
what did you expect? it's european
