Sounds like a manufacturers defect. Take it in for warranty work, should be fixed for free.

Actually we had 6 at work that did the same thing, turns out that the problem is in the hinge design. THe latest ones are supposed to have addressed this. Shame too because my replacement was a POS Siemens.
