Everytime I reboot (and thats not too often icon_wink.gif ) I noticed last night my that I keep losing my 4.1 surround support on my OS (XP). I always have to reset it back to Quadrophonic from the Desktop Setting it seems to always default to... kind annoying and pi**ing me off...

I have an Audigy with CSW 4.1 Speakers...

any idea?

Are you setting your speakers with the SB mixer and the windows speaker setting?

I couldn't find anything useful on Microsoft's site, but I got a bunch of stuff back when I ran a search on Creative's web site. Here are the results:

I don't have the time to look through all 61 articles, but maybe there's something useful in there.

Load just the mixer software odie, it will allow you to lock in your speaker settings. I loaded just the SB live drivers, but had to load the mixer too to get all 4 of my speakers to work. icon_biggrin.gif

the latest Audigy drivers match the built in sound settings to the Audigy's software settings so they are in sync.
