The upgrade project so far. Now if I can only decide whether to go with dual XP2600s or a Granite Bay...

Looks good so far.icon_biggrin.gif Which case is that? It looks like one of the Enermax/Xoxide/Skyhawk cases that come with a window built in already.

ColorCases 502 ATC. No window yet, just another 80mm fan that came already installed. With the 7 fans it was really loud, so they're all running at 7v now. I bought it for the cooling since I am leaning toward the duallies, but it may be overkill.

Unless you plan on filling up on hard disks you can probably get by with two intake, one exhaust, and one for the blow-vent (if your case has one) or a second exhaust fan. I'm guessing that there is a fan in the side panel, also.

you are going to wait a while for granite PAY.. and you will need a new power (different spec) supply.

too costly for most... plus GB does NOT have all the nForce2 advantages. It does not have the best integrated hardware encode/decode Dolby Digital 6 channel audio...
oh yeah.. and you PEE 4 is also more expensive... not to mention that Granite Pay will only support DDR 266 for now icon_cry.gif

Mandark, you're right. It doesn't have the DD hardware. I have outboard stuff to do that. I'm not building a gaming computer. I'm building something that I can run Cubase or Sonar on, and work as an adjunct to my board. Now a dual-processor nForce2 I might think about...

egarrard, your case looks just like mine inside. But, I have the blue neon front.
