I noticed that quite many of you here have problems with your Wilson s1mp3 players.
Since we run a project dedicated to this player, I thought it might be usefull to point out our web page

We have among others:
-a firmware archive, with about a 100 (and counting) different firmware version for this player
-a recovery guide for dead players
-a program to make backups of your current firmware
-a program to edit firmwares (make your own pictures/fonts/etc.)
-a support forum, with already many solved cases that may help
-a desire to make an opensourdce firmware (Help is always welcome )

So what happened to S1MP3.org? It appears to be dead.

That is not they - even that site has links to s1mp3.org. They do have some useful programs there - I successfully modded my stratup and shutdown screens on my was "4GB now 245MB" S1 with progs from there - but there's no forums or wiki at s1mp3.de
