i've got a 1gb alba mp3 player which used to function properly however has now gone mental. first of all it stop playing mp3 music files, then i had to convert all my tracks to wma , NOW! when i start the damn thing! its says "ms dos.5.0" and it only plays the first track, whe i try to skip the track it goes to the last one!.

has any one experienced this? is my mp3 player salvagable? help please.
