I have heard of this problem, don't know why but sometimes the speakers reset to the standard stereo setup.

I have never had that happen myself, but, I am in the market for a new sound card and the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz is awesome from what I have read (from a lot of people that have them). They're a little steep (around $70 on Pricewatch the last time I looked). But supposedly they're much better than Creative's. I'll let you know... icon_biggrin.gif Any opinions?

I think if you have your speakers set for 4 speakers in windows control as well as in the SB mixer you can avoid this problem.
