Hello

I have a Xenio 125 lenco player and it shows that there are files in the player. 24% is occupied.

But when I try to replay it shows NO FILES. The thing is that I used DBPoweramp to change the files from .mpc to .mp3 on the F partition itself and said to delete the original .mpc files. Maybe this triggered something bad with the mp3 software or something

Now, when I open the map it shows nothing, not one mp3... When I try to copy mp3's to the partition it says it can't be done. I tried turning power on and off, replacing batteries, but nothing works.

There is nothing wrong with the USB, windows is saying this. So what's the problem?

Should I now just format the mp3 and hope it works? Or should I download and install some software from the internet?

I hope someone can help me...

This is very odd. I plugged the mp3 on to the computer and pressed hold, an idea from another site. And then it worked again.

The odd thing is: I copied my music onto the mp3 which is 148 mb.

And I went to see the whole partition and it says 298 mb. This can't be a coincidence? It's the double of 148 mb. And I know yesterday I put in 148 mb of music in it, then the error occured, then I fixed it and put the music in again. And now it is 298 mb...

So how should I fix this? The partition shows only those 148 mb of music, where did the other 148 mb go to?

Do you think I can format the partition to 0 mb again? And then put the music back in?

EDIT: okay now I clicked on "show system maps" and I get this: Found map with my 22 mp3's as recovered file fragments: FILE0000.chk, ..., till FILE0025.chk and som other fragments which are only 8 kb in size.
Exactly my 22 mp3's I put in yesterday. But the other fragments, I don't know what they are.

I opened the .chk files with winamp and I hear my music. So I can safely delete these files. Now there are still those 4 files of 8 kb size...

I decided to leave those files on the mp3 player, they are only 32 kb in size so, nothing of importance...

What a relief... and... I'l never convert files on the USB partition again, ever...
