ok, here's the deal. I can get on my account...Admin account on XP yet my parents can't get in their accounts at all...it just goes back to the account menu screen...and my copm has been actin a little funny...anyone got any ideas? I ran a virus scan I did get anythuing out of the ordinary...

If your account is Admin, then delete their account and re-create. sounds like their profile is corrupt.

i keep gettin Parcer messages....somin about line 8....i dunno

noticed another thing...when I hit start, shutdown....it doesn't want to shutdown...I can't log off anymore either it brings up that Parcer Error Message somin about the Value of Line 8...

I need to know the exact error message.

I would recommend that you re-service pack it. Get Service Pack 2


Then re-install SP2, then go get all updates. Or use System Restore to restor it to a date when it was last working correctly.
