hy all
got mp3-player : ibon 512mb
and laptop with windows XP
when i plug in (usb), he tells i need to install hardware
on included cd, the driver is for 98, with updates for XP (and others)
when i install the 98-version, he gives "errors" (tells it may cauze problems installing this, 98<--> XP (i guess thats why))
but updates dont work and cant find them on the inet, neither i find a site of ibon

and on my computer, the mp3-player is not in the list so dont have any access to it

other problem : cant shut it down
works with batterie inside i dont need to replace
and he always stands on : "starting..." (for several days already )

hope some of u can help me fixing this

somebody any idea?
or somewhere related problemes (and solutions) that i didnt see?

cant find a website of it... strange

on the box and on the player himself there is "ibon" (iBON)
the manuel nor the driver (cdr) shows something concearing any brand (not iBON, not any other thing)
so i think these 2 items are used for several types of players
(sure about it, cuz in the manuel the picture of the player is not mine and on the end they say that i may differ a bit, concering your player).

You don't need drivers for XP. Try turning the player on before connecting it to the pc
