Hi to all, I'm newbie here and thanks God I found this forum.

I bought a new IPOD like MP4, MP4 is the brand from Hong Kong. These are my problems:
1. The User Manual is in chinese. Can anybody here have english manual? Can I download somehere else.
2. The MP4 player should be plug n play. I tried downloading from my office computer. it works fine. I just plugged it and start dragging the mp3 files. However, when I tried dowloading songs at home, my 3 months old PC can detect the hardware but can't show the files from the player or may be can't read the files. The OS of my office PC is XP Pro and at home is XP Home. Please tell me what should be the problem.
3. As a newbie, what is a firmware?

3. Firmware is the software that drives an electronic device like your player. It's applied in the factory, and usually does not need to be changed. Flashing an incorrect/incompatible firmware may cause any device, including your player, to malfunction or completely stop working. So stay on the safe side and DON'T flash it if it does what it's supposed to.
