The RAZR V3i / V3t / V3e / V3r are the exact same model, just with different letters at the end. they all have the same specs and feature sets as one another. If you can hold off WNP (wireless number portability) is due in March, so pricing may go down then.

Looking at their lineup of phones, from my experience in the past with the brands, the ones I myself would look at in that price range are:
Samsung D807x
Motorola RAZR V3t
Nokia 6103
Sony Ericsson W300i Black/White
These are the ones I would personally look at in that price range. There are some nice phones in their higher range of pricing, but if you are working with a budget, any of these ones should serve your purpose.
Also, on a side note.. it's not how the phone looks, it's how it performs, hands down, cell phones may think it's all about fashion, but you can have the nicest looking phone on the planet, and it doesn't work worth a damn. Usually the ugliest or "old fashioned" looking phones perform the best hands down.

The D807x has a 1.3 mega pixel camera but it says its pixel resolutions: 1280 X 1024.
How can that be if 1.3 is equvilent to vga (640 * 480 ) ???

From my experience Razrs' are waaayyy to fragile. If you think you will ever drop your phone, or lean against a counter with it in your pocket or on a belt clip - don't get a Razr. I have never seen a phone more prone to a cracked display than this one. The display is relatively large, and since the phone is so thin, their is little protection for it. And I loathe the keypad.
