According to The Sun, in a January 23, 2007 article, Cruise allegedly has been dubbed the “Christ” of Scientology by leader David Miscavige and other leaders of the religion. Miscavige allegedly has told Cruise that in the future, he will be worshipped like the Christian Messiah for his role in prostelyzing for Scientology.
