~~I'm doing this as an experiment and for research~~
This is a thread on why, humans act the so called 'human nature' , why out fate is 'sealed' , why life is to short.
I want thoughts on why, what, where, and how things happen the way they do.
I want people's thoughts/opinions what happens on a philosophical level of why and what.
To questions like "is there a God?" "why are we here?" and "What shape is the sky?"

let's hear some

deep thinkers huh? well let's see what we can do about this... hmm... pretty good questions u got there Sur... it's kind of hard to try to explain such things but i will try to reason it... 1st. is there a God? in some cases there should be one out there, cuz if there wasn't, who created the universe and human beings? that could be another question to analize... sometimes i think there's a God, but as far as we cannot see him, it becomes diff to be sure... sometimes i wonder also why he doesn't answer to all prayers... 2nd. why are we here? i think we had a little convo about this and we both agreed that we're here because of a purpose, no matter how small or big it may be, we must accomplish a goal in life, and of course we may also think that sometimes life's useless but after all it's life and we've got to live it no matter how hard it may seem... 3rd. what shape is the sky? hard to answer too... but i think the sky has no shape since it is abstract, as far as i am concerned there two defenitions for that, the sky and heaven, the sky is what we see at simple sight and the heaven is the place where we go depending on our good or bad acts in life... this is one of the topics we could speak over and over again and simply find no solution nor answer... we'd better just be the way we are and try to get the best of it by enjoying just the fact that we are alive and that we have a chance to meet people and learn from them... remember that we only have one life and if we waste it, in the end it will only be more useless than we tought it'd have been... just my humble opinion about this...

All the facts that you stated I agree with yet, do not totaly. Yes life has a meaning, everylife does and no matter how hard life kicks us in the face we must go on. For every action there is a equal and opposite re-action...say a person lives to do somthing, that may inspire someone else, for them to get to their pull potential. I see everything is written into out DNA from the beginning. We cannot fully understand the reasons for actions. Actions are just that...actions that cannot be stopped, if it's written, it's true and fate are "sealed". That's another thing...Fate, what is it? is our ultimate dysteny? or demise? We strive so hard to reach life's goals and live our dreams, but if it's written, how can we fight it? By fighting what is inevitable? We will just be delaying what is to be.
As for the sky thing. I see you point and agree, the sky is much to abstract to size and shape. But heaven...if heaven is up...and hell is down. Isn't hell just the other side of the earth's heaven? What exaclty is a soul anyway? Is it our afterlife? or is just a part of DNA that can't be de-coded. I think the person who understood this was considerd the smartest man of all time, and philosphiesd at all times. Da Vinci. He understood this, and kept it away fearing that if man can understand why we are here...then we could figure out our fate and there by conflicting with God's or Fate's will and intension...

My friend below had a few words about these burning issues, and felt this was a great thread to express them, i.e., in terms of deep thinkers, and such. Although, she works long and hard, she does read a lot, and here are but a few of her thoughts and puzzles! naughty.gif tongue_smilie.gif

i also agree but remember that the discussions make the words alive too... indeed life is pretty hard sometimes and makes us wonder why we are here in the first place... i also agree that fate is sealed and it cannot be changed but in my opinion it can be modified... every human has a chance to change the way of live they live... it is the person who really doesn't wanna change is the one who ends up being nothing... sad but true, unfortunately people have created what we know as heaven and hell... i say people because we are not sure who did it... it appears in almost all religious books but we know for sure what we don't know... as for the soul thing, i think the soul is the essence of life itself, the souls lies within the body and animates it... once the soul is set free, the body falls down lifelessly... so, where is the soul then? hmmm... interesting question... in summary, sometimes it is better not to know the truth for we are not prepared to do so... as i said, we've just gotta live life and enjoy the little beautiful things in life... don't ever forget that time is only a promise of things to come...

Yes, you can mod your fate...but isn't the outcome the same? Just in a different time, or place?
Fate is certain in this short life we have. We don't know when, where, how, or why it will happen yet it is certain...almost like Taxes...certain.
We must live life as we are given it...things may happen to make us think we're ready for fate to come grab us. Yet there's something more we must do. Do as much as you can and help people as much as you can. For Time is only a promise of things to come...that was a well put saying my brother, well put indeed. But Life is like time...when used foolishly it's short, when used wisly it's eternal...
Another thing...Heaven and Hell...I do not believe in these places...some may disagree with my claim. That's accecptable. For these people are fighting for what they believe in, not what I do. It is a controversal subject that has been around 1000's of years. Does God exist? Why are we here? Well to put in perspective...God does exist, yet he doesnt'...There are things that happen that never could...yet have a scientific term or cause. And Why are we here?
that's a simple answer...but one must follow one's path to understand thy self to learn it's true meaning...

You can be born into various circumstance that are not very charming, nor conducive to the quality of life, or a long one. Fortunately, you can change these relationships, e.g., Helen Keller is a great example of courage, and determination to change the world she was born into, and serves as an inspiration to others. thumbup1.gif

There are ways that a persons' quality of life can be changed, among them for example, is helping those less fortunate intellectually, physically, and lastly economically. Just being kind, and honest with others is a good way to start. Not all wish you ill, or want to tear your heart out ... physically or romantically. The point is, that one can change the direction they are going if they wish, and a good place to start is to stop thinking about the self, i.e., to the extent that you forget about others.

Questions of fate seem more probmatic than not, but it does seem to follow that checking out what one is about to under take in life, e.g., steping down on icy steps, in the dark of night with poor visability, seems a resonable starting point-like a flashlight.

To the question of God, I personally have never participated in a two way converstation, usually prayer is one way. Yet, some friends, and others are more metaphysical then I, and have had fortunately these experiences. Obviously, there is some credibility in their actions and experiences since they have not been netted, and carted off to the funny farm for hearing voices ... in psycharitary 101 hearing voices is a no-no and the key to the cushioned room-so puzzel that one.

Finally, in terms of life being a downer and so, do not have a predetermined order of things-but do find good people in some strange places, and hope to reflect the same. Have fun. Df. thumbup1.gif
