My mp3 player, which is a RCA Lyra (Serial- TC1202A ), keeps screwing up, and now it doesen't even start, it seizes at the splash screen,
can anyone get me a link for a firmware upgrade please?

Is that the right serial number?

It's the only serialish thing i can see on it.

It seizes everytime i plug it into the computer, i have no access to it.

Is it still under warranty? Call RCA. but ya i checked the site and "the google" and didnt find anything for that serial number.

That blows. just call them and see if they know anything about the problem or issue before u send it in or anything. u know!! ill keep looking to see if i can find anything.

I have the same MP3 Player... But my problem is that it has a mind of it's own... there is no button to fast forward through a track, just jump to the next one... But sometimes it plays a song perfectly well, then all of a sudden it'll mess up and sound like its on fast forward, then when i try to do anything about it (eg. turn it off and pull out the battery) it deletes all the songs that were screwing up on its own..... cus I am
