Ok i have a Sony Xplode GT500, and i went to the beach the other day and lost the faceplate, i don't know where to get just the faceplate for it..or know how much it will cost..i tried going bak to were i bought it and they said i was shyt out of luck, and aslo will any lower version faceplate work with my stereo..like if i put the GT300 on it would it work?..please help

only thing I can recommend is trying that...huh...try checking with Sony

So follow above advice! Does not seem much of a problem: see link below: It would be most surprising indeed if Sony did not have standard face plates, given they make them removable, and people obviously will lose them!

Sony should have a replacement face plate, because i got a new one for my brother, just make sure to have the model number from the stero. Older face plates wont work with the box so dont waste your time trying.

can u give me an example of a model number..there is tons of numbers on the box

Easy! Just list all that you can see, and have some idea of where they came from (located at on box)/. So, when you speak to a parts person at Sony, they will inform you of the correct number, and it's location. Good luck.
