ok i got a 1800 watt mono kenwood amp.had it hooked up to 2 15's had trouble with the pwer cutting off when u turned it up,but we got that fixed...the only thang i had left to do was put a bigger inline fuse cuz it only had a 40 amp oone and the amp fuses was more amps than that.so i put a 100 amp inline fuse in it,but when i touched the wire from the battery to the amp its just sparked so i pulled it off the amp,and then touched it again and it didnt spark.and none of the fuses blew, but then the amp wouldnt power on period the light wouldnt even come on,i even tried puttin the smaller inline fuss in it but nothang, yall thank i blown the amp,i dont thank i did cuz the fusses are all good but idk,im thankin its a ground problem but, give me yalls opinion

I think maybe you did fry something. You had a 40 amp fuse that kept blowing? So you had swapped in a 100 amp fuse? In my experience electronic equipment is rated for a specific amperage fuse. If your amp was only rated for a 40amp fuse and it kept blowing, the answer is not a larger fuse. The fuse blowing is what protects the rest of the circuit. If your amp is rated for, say 60 amps, and that's what it is getting, then the 40amp fuse will blow. But if, for some reason 80 amps is applied, the 100 amp fuse will not blow, but the amps circuitry rated for 60 amps will fry.
