yea I pretty much lost respect for Korn right from the beginning... nothing really special to me.

it's just that so many bands are concentrating on the negative in that way. Dude, I would cry all the time if I had to listen to those messages all the time.

But there a lots of sad songs in the world too... Like "You are my sunshine"

it starts so great but you realize that the person lost someone they dearly love. When I think of losing my wife or son, that is the worst thing that could happen to me... (since I have already lost my mind! Just thought I would end it in some humor)

Well that song does state that the other person left to "love another" but if you really loved your partner, that is probably worse than them dying.

I guess I just have a problem with a song called Hollow Life. My life has been so rich and interesting that my only regret is that I can't go back and do it all over again.

I suppose it is what you relate too, as my life has basically been shit 90% of the time and I've lost alot of friends, girlfriends, family, everyone... the song really hits me hard.

I can feel your pain man I to have lost friends and family a few girlfriends and a wife, it is unavoidable when you reach my age. But life is not like an E ticket at Disney once its over its over. My philosify is enjoy the trip don't dwell on what could or should have been. Look forward and do the best you can and enjoy doing it. Life often seems to hand you a shit sandwich but things always and I sincerly say always get better. As Manny says sometimes it helps to talk to someone and if you feel that would help by all means do it. Don't dwell on these sad songs they were created for one reason and that was to make the artist money.
